Lately, I’ve been thinking about adding wall-to-wall curtains to this wall, behind our bed. It started as a simple idea—a practical way to soften the light and give the room a fuller, cozier look and then, somehow, the idea grew into reality.  I found myself imagining the entire wall draped in fabric, flowing from ceiling to floor, turning what was once just a blank expanse into something alive, warm, and inviting.

and so I did!

Nothing fancy—just the same simple sheer white curtains, hung high up to the ceiling. Soft and light, letting the sun filter through while adding a touch of warmth and texture to the room.

Sometimes, I’m prone to fill the room with things I love—another gallery wall, more color, little touches everywhere. But winter calls for soft beiges and clean whites, and I’m keeping the room just as plain and stark as winter itself. There’s a quiet beauty in it, a calm that feels right for these shorter days and slower nights.

Even simple curtains can make a space feel different. I love the sunlight pouring in through the fabric in the mornings, casting gentle shadows across the bed.  They make the walls feel less bared, and the room a little more finished, a little more peaceful. Sheer white curtains are understated and soft—they bring light without clutter, elegance without drama.

and of course, plants everywhere for that special touch of green life!

I’ve already started dreaming of spring and roses, imagining exactly what I want to do in that corner of the garden where the swing once stood for years—now transformed into a small, ground-covered jungle of perennials and herbs and nothing more.  This is what I'm dreaming for that corner.  So sweet!
